Venturers

Designed for youth aged 14–18 years.

Venturers design and lead their own programmes, using their experiences to challenge themselves and grow as leaders in their communities. Many also work towards their King’s Scout and Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

As a Venturer, you will:

• Build lifelong friendships and connect with others across Aotearoa.
• Plan and take charge of your own adventures.
• Develop valuable life skills and explore the big issues that matter to young people today.
• Make a real difference in your communities.
• Take part in Regional, National and International events.
• Have loads of fun along the way!

Venturers can also support Scouts at Jamboree, helping to run the programme, and take part in many Regattas held throughout the year.
