As our Scouts and Venturers continue fundraising for the 23rd NZ Scout Jamboree, we are now proudly bringing to you a Quiz Night “FUNdraiser”

Over the next few weeks we will be letting you know what raffle prizes are up for grabs on the night.. some sponsors are shown in the poster..but there are many more!

New Helmets thanks to Hibiscus Coast Local Board (Apr.2023)

We were lucky to have received a grant from Hibiscus Coast Local Board recently which has allowed us to purchase new safety helmets which are a new sailing requirement by Scouts NZ. We also purchased some more camping tents (needed with our group growing in size and replacing old tents) and also VHF radios another safety mandatory requirement when we take our youth out on to the water.

So a big HUGE BRAVO Thank you to the local board for their continued support to Orewa Sea Scouts.

Volunteer Week 2022 – Our Leaders meet for Water Charge Cert Training

A big thanks to all of you who volunteer your own free time to make a difference in the lives of our Youth members and help us deliver such an interesting scouting programme week after week. #volunteerweek2022

Here are some snapshots of a few of our Leaders today at Orewa Beach during a practical training session towards their Water Charge Certifications.
